By registering and operating as a seller on the platform, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. This policy should be read in conjunction with our Seller Agreement and Terms of Service.

- → Aadhaar or other government ID (for KYC)

- → Bank account details for settlements
- → UPI ID (if applicable)

- → Order history and fulfillment records
- → Return and refund activity
- → Customer ratings and reviews
- → IP address and device type
- → Browser and OS information
- → Login timestamps and session data
How We Use Data
Seller data is used exclusively for legitimate business and operational purposes:
- → To verify seller identity and process onboarding (KYC).
- → To facilitate order placement, fulfillment, and dispute resolution.
- → To process payments and manage settlement disbursements.
- → To monitor and enforce compliance with platform policies.
- → To analyze seller performance and provide actionable insights.
- → To communicate important platform updates, policy changes, and notifications.
- → To improve platform features, security, and overall seller experience.
We never use seller data for advertising to third parties.
Data Security
We implement robust technical and organizational measures to protect seller data:
- → End-to-end encryption for financial and identity data.
- → Secure HTTPS transmission across all platform interfaces.

We retain seller data for periods aligned with legal obligations and business necessity:
- → Active seller accounts: Data retained for the duration of the seller relationship.
- → KYC documents: Retained for 5 years as per Indian regulatory requirements.
- → Financial records: Retained for 7 years for tax and audit compliance.
- → Inactive accounts: Data retained for 2 years before deletion review.
- → Legal hold: Data retained beyond standard periods where legally required.
Seller Rights
As a seller, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- → Right to Access — Request a copy of all data we hold about you.
- → Right to Correction — Request correction of inaccurate or outdated information.
- → Right to Deletion — Request deletion of data (subject to legal retention requirements).
- → Right to Portability — Request transfer of your data in a machine-readable format.

Third-Party Services
The Seller Hub integrates with third-party services for payment processing, analytics, and logistics. Each third-party service has its own privacy policy, and Electapros is not responsible for their data practices.
We only partner with third-party services that meet our data security standards and are bound by appropriate data processing agreements.
Cross-Border Transfers
All seller data is primarily stored and processed within India. In cases where data may be processed by international service providers (e.g., cloud infrastructure), we ensure appropriate contractual safeguards are in place to comply with Indian data protection laws.
Policy Changes
Electapros reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be communicated via:
